The Ibanez RG2228GK is part of the Prestige family and is made for extremely low tuning. Standard tuning gives you GBEADGBE, Awesome!!!

The build of the guitar is very similar to the Ibanez Universe 777BK, with a basswood body and a 5pc Ultra Maple/Wenge neck. The bridge is the new FX Edge III-8 which is a double locking fixed bridge with fine tuners so you can tune the G and B string with ease.

The pickups are the new EMG 808 active pickups which are the first ever production 8 string pickups designed to pickup those low frequencies.

It comes with a plush crock skin Ibanez hard case plus the Prestige tool kit.
